The Bruce Trail is Canada's oldest and longest footpath, providing the only continuous public access to the Magnificent Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.
The section of trail in our area starts with a trip through the valley of the Bighead River before proceeding along the escarpment to the expansive Bayview Escarpment Nature Reserve.
The trail offers spectacular views of Georgian Bay, waterfalls and provincially rare ferns.
The trail is a foot path only, other uses are only permitted where signage indicates those uses.
